Frome Festival 2017 - North Sea Radio Orchestra + Isolde

Frome Festival 2017 - North Sea Radio Orchestra + Isolde

Back in 2002 North Sea Radio Orchestra was playing a kind of chamber/alternative classical/folk high-Victorian hybrid music, composed, recorded and led by guitarist Craig Fortnam. NSRO escaped the City to play various festivals, arts establishments, 6Music sessions, venues of all kinds whilst releasing three studio albums to great critical acclaim. Now after a 4 year break they return with their fourth album 'Dronne'. Featuring the beautiful voice of Sharron Fortnam, Dronne marries disparate influences like Robert Wyatt, Britten, Vaughan-Williams, Cardiacs, early Kraftwerk etc.

Don't miss the Frome Festival show - it's one of the handful NSRO are playing in 2017.

Supporting NSRO is Isolde, the Bristol based mistress of the loop pedal.
