Bridgwater Quayside Festival

Bridgwater Quayside Festival celebrates the historic town of Bridgwater. Quayside is an outdoor arts and culture festival celebrating culture and diversity in Sedgemoor. Enjoy the food stalls, acoustic bands and musicians, incredible acrobatics, aerial shows, celebrating #Circus250, living statues, stilt-walkers, street theatre, a 35ft Pliosaur cinema by Emerald Ant, creative arts workshops, dance, archery and medieval games. There will be a wide range of family activities with something for everyone. This year hosts the first children's carnival arts parade supported by Mandinga Arts "Monkey Business" acrobatic performance.

The Festival is commissioned by Sedgemoor District Council and supported by Bridgwater Town Council. The organisers Fuseperformance, Somerset Outdoor Arts Company are supported by Arts Council England. There is a packed programme of local and national artists as well as Arts Council commissioned shows, Local musicians and local artists are producing some exceptional performances and installations, arrive early, schedule your day to capture some of these exceptional shows and experiences.

Events take place in Blake Gardens, West Quay, Eastover/New Rd, Fore Street and Angel Place and with events and activities by Bridgwater Cultural Partners at Bridgwater Arts Centre, the Engine Room and Bridgwater Library.
