He has played with Stan Sulzmann, Dave Young, Ben Waghorn, Nick Malcolm and Jonny Bruce amongst others. He was project editor for ABRSM jazz exam publications (with Nikki Iles and Pete Chruchill), and as part of this project also produced studio sessions featuring players such as Martin France, Mick Hutton, Gareth Williams and Alan Barnes. Luke Belcher (bass) was born in Christchurch (NZ) and moved to the UK in late 2017. Lee Darkin-Miller (drums) is a regular around the South and South-West jazz scene, and has played with jazz heavyweights such as, Gilad Atzmon, Mornington Lockett, Jim Mullen, Dave O’Higgins, Derek Nash and Mark Nightingale. Lee is also a composer, providing scores for film, tv and video games, and he also writes original material for bands, including his father-and-son project, TNT, who had the opportunity to play support for the great Courtney Pine.
